Lisa Strovink

Lisa has spent her career working to bring new therapies to market, focusing on early-stage healthcare technology. She is currently a Managing Partner at AllerFund, the first venture capital firm focused solely on food allergy. Before starting AllerFund, she was the Chief Strategy Officer at the New York Stem Cell Foundation and a Principal at Ascent Biomedical Partners, a seed and early-stage venture fund, where she evaluated and conducted due diligence on investment opportunities across multiple therapeutic areas.
Lisa previously held roles at Johnson & Johnson, including director of a disease-focused fund investing in pre-clinical and clinical stage products across the pharmaceutical, device, diagnostics, and consumer sectors. Lisa holds a BA in neurobiology from the University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Memorial Sloan Kettering Technology Development Fund External Review Committee. She is the mother of two boys with food allergies.
