Dr. Katie Brenner, Co-Founder and Inventor of Leading Fertility Diagnostics Company, to Join Amulet’s Board

Over the past few months, Amulet has grown its roster of trailblazing women on our leadership team. In August, Amulet announced the addition of two distinguished individuals—Darcey Nett, Principal at HealthX Ventures, and Lisa Strovink, Managing Partner at AllerFund—to its Board of Directors. But there’s always room for more.

This month, Dr. Katie Brenner, health tech entrepreneur, will also join our Board of Directors. Katie co-founded and led the Madison-based healthcare startup bluDiagnostics as CEO from 2015 to its acquisition by Amazon in 2020. bluDiagnostics pioneered sensor technology that enabled at-home measurements of health metrics previously confined to clinical settings.

Katie shares Amulet’s vision for a future of healthcare driven by transparency, autonomy, and accessibility. Her technical background (BSEE and MSEE from Stanford University, bioengineering Ph.D. from Caltech) paired with deep expertise developing sensors that help people make better decisions about their health will be an asset to Amulet’s board.

Looking to the future, we are more energized than ever to share the Amulet with customers. We have initiated large-scale manufacturing and are on track to bring our first commercial-ready units to market in the coming months.
